The dev of G-Helper has been talking me through some stuff as he has done with you, and we have come to the conclusion that restarting in ECO mode (either set in armory crate or in g-helper, or even done manually through commands in powershell) will result in the constant BSODs.
You have no idea how happy i am to hear that someone else has the exact same issue as me! I was worried it was a hardware fault, but this is not the case. (EDIT) I suspect the issue was related to the BIOS, iGPU drivers, Nvidia drivers, or GHelper.

Now it stopped crashing ! It appeared my computer only BSOD when using the 780M and not the NVidia dGPU.Ĥ - Launch MyASUS, go into Customer Support, LiveUpdate.ĥ - Download BIOS update, and AMD Drivers Update there. Then I decided to try to disable the dGPU or the iGPUġ - Boot and log-in quickly, before the computer crashes.Ģ - Open armoury crate and enable Ultimate GPU Mode (disabling the iGPU). This led to constant Blue Screens of Death, every few minutes with the computer automatically restarting and not working properly for longer than a minute and a half. Launched GHelper to see if it'd help with battery life It didn't work well for me, but I am very particular.I just wanted to share my experience having significant issues with this year's model, and how I fixed it. You can also try SignalRGB as an alternative. Look at the other apps that are installed for RGB components that you don't have, and you can remove some of them too. You can find it in Settings->Apps.įrom what I have been reading elsewhere, removing this will help increase stability for most systems. Patriot Viper M2 SSD RGB software is the current biggest culprit.

They get install with AC and other RGB software automatically.ĪC installs some drivers that are there just in case you have that hardware, some of which are for hardware that is no longer produced. The blue screens may be caused by old drivers that should be uninstalled. It may be required unless you like the default rainbow all the time. You may not be able to live with out Armoury Crate with the keyboard. But now i'm a little bit concern on the ressult if i'm not using AC as its control the fan and RGB keyboard. Is it actually save to remove Armory Crate completely? i've had enough with stutter problem on my Asus ROG g773QR (RTX 3070) and decided to do clean install Windows 11 and removing Armory Crate while doing so.
